Body of Sharks
Sharks have a fairly basic body structure. They do have special types of scales called denticles. Denticles are like tiny teeth, that are very sharp. They also have ampullae of Lorenzini, sensors that aid the shark with sensing where other animals are in the water. Since the sharks do not have good eye sight, these sensors come in handy. In the long run, sharks have captivating bodies.
Body of Rays and Skates
Rays and skates are demersal, meaning they live on the bottom of the ocean. Since they live on the bottom of the ocean, they have a flat body that allows them to easily blend in. Rays also have thin whip like tail with tiny barbs on it, that can be lethal if touched. Unlike other fish, both rays and skates have their mouth and gill slits on the bottom of their body. All in all, they have an enthralling body.
